Merry & Bright

We’re delighted to bring you another Friday round of creations with the Senior Design Team at Flourishes! Today we’re getting in the cozy Christmas mood and showing off to you all that’s beautiful about the holidays at Flourishes, you’ll see some of our beautiful newer offerings for the season and some of our equally lovely past sets too. Time to be inspired for one of our favorite times to create cards for others! Stop on by and see our cozy Christmas today!

I colored this beautiful Poinsettia flower and fussy cut around the edges.  I used some pop dots to give it some depth.  I can honestly say that I don't miss using ribbon at all.  Isn't it funny how we go through phases in our crafting journey?

I loved the sketch at Sweet Sunday so much that I had to use it again.

Happy Birthday Christine

IT'S A SURPRISE PARTY!!! Grab a handful of confetti, a bright balloon and come along for a fun birthday blog hop to celebrate a special birthday for our dear friend, Christine Okken!  One thing about birthdays, is that you always hope to spend time with those you care about and that's why we're here!  At Flourishes, we're just one big family... so we just wanted to celebrate a wonderful day with one of our loved ones.

I would like to wish Christine a very Happy Birthday.  I hope you enjoy your special day and eat lots of delicious cake.  Thanks for all you do for us here at Flourishes.

Even though we're a day early, we'd like to say...

Join along with members of the Flourishes family today and share some fabulous birthday inspirations, many happy celebratory birthday wishes and maybe even a slice of cyber cake.

In honor of Christine's birthday celebration, we're giving away a special birthday present or two of our own!  Hidden among the Design Team's blogs today is a Mystery Blogger. Comment on her blog and you could be chosen as one of our birthday prize winners! The more you comment, the better your chances of winning.

As well as one lucky commenter, we're having a birthday challenge too!

  • Entries need to be in by Friday November 1st at 6 PM EST.
  • Those entries using Flourishes stamps will be counted for 2 prize ballots!

Serinity Now

Hello again!  I have vowed to make more time for my non required DT projects.  So, I pulled out this darling PI girl from MFT and used her for the current sketch on the MFT blog.  Isn't she a doll?

I will save it to give the teacher of the classroom I am in.  Almost every day is a stressful day for us.  Working with high school kids that have behavior disorders will test your patience any day.

For some reason the In Linkz will not allow me to add new items to my Project Manager.  The stamp I used is the Pure Innocence Serinity.

I used the current MFTWSC sketch on the MFT blog.

With Sympathy

Hello and welcome to Free for All Friday!  Today the Flourishes Senior Design Team is pulling out some of our sets that are on the overstock or retiring list and giving them a new spin! We always love when we can do that, because it makes you fall in love with those sets all over again

I chose to work with Country Charm Labels, but used a sentiment from another set that I will link below.  I love this set because you can fit many different sentiments from Flourishes stamp sets, right inside the pretty decorative frames.  There is a matching Spellbinders die set, but I don't own it, so I fussy cut around the edges.

I chose to work with the sketch over at the Retro Sketches blog.

We invite you to take a trip on over to the rest of the Design Team to see what they have up their creative sleeves today:
Please be sure to give some extra love for our lovely Designer Maki Jones…Maki is taking a break from the design team and we’ll miss her very much while she’s gone! She’s such a talented lady who has treated us to some amazing and creative designs these last few years on the Timeless Tuesday Team and the Senior Design Team. We send big hugs out to Maki!
