Life is a Journey

Hello my sweet blog friends.  I have one last card to share for the month of September.  I picked up a new embossing folder from my local big box craft store the other day, and was excited to use it on my card today.

Flourishes has some wonderful 123 Create Kits.  You have three essential elements in one kit –paper, ribbon and embellishments all color coordinated to make card making easy! This kit, called Isabella features a 6 X 6" Bo Bunny Isabella paper pad, 1 yard of grey ruched ribbon, 2 yards of pink grosgrain ribbon, 1 yard of smoke ruffle trim, 2 yards of silver cording, 8 antique silver brads, crystal clear buttons, and 1 yard of pink sheer ribbon.  What a bounty of card-making fun!

I played along with the Sweet Shop sketch challenge.

You Give Me A Warm Glow

Hello!  It seems like it has been forever since I posted last.  The past week has been a doozy, and I am hoping next week is a little less eventful.  I made some time this afternoon to get into my craft room.  I love the fun papers in my new 6x6 pack from American Crafts.  Finally found a paper pack that I like!

I love the happy face that this little jack-o-lantern has.  He made a great little embellishment didn't he?  This is one of my favorite cards that I made for Halloween.

I used the sketch at Seize the Sketch for my design.

All that Glitters

Friday has rolled around again and the Flourishes Design Team has a treat for you today! We're digging into the Flourishes vault to showcase some of our sets that are retiring! As we make room for new, it means we need to clear out some of these beauties. So - if you like what you see along the way - be sure to add them to your shopping cart, because once they're gone - they're gone for good!
It always feels a little sad to say goodbye to some beautiful sets we've loved so well - so I know the Design Team will show them off wonderfully and you'll be inspired!

As you can see, I chose to use the set called All that Glitters.  I have a plethora of glittered ornaments that I place on my Christmas tree every year.  I tired to color them to somewhat represent my ornaments.  I even have them tied on with pretty ribbon just like theses.

Tis the Season

Today we're excited to bring you one more look at this month's New Release Sets at Flourishes! Its our chance to show off some more from our favorite sets, and with five gorgeous stamps this month, there's so much to choose from! Remember that today is the LAST day you can purchase the New Release Bundle at a discount, so we don't want you to miss out on the deal! Come and see what beauties the Design Team has to show off for you today!

There is a pretty Christmas 6x6 pack of paper from Theresa Collins in the Flourishes store that worked perfectly for my card.  I wanted the topiary to stand out and not the paper.
