Happiness is You- JUGS 25/ Caardvarks

Hello!  I bought this cute little girl stamp Friday night at Archivers.  It is from Hero Arts.  I figured it would be good for practicing my Copic coloring.  It isn't the best, but I was trying to distract myself from being so upset about my mom being in the hospital several hundred miles away...and not being able to be there.
I also got these beautiful Prima flowers there too.
The challenges this card belongs to is JUGS for the color inspiration and Caardvarks for the NEW stamp and lace.  If you know me...you know I love lace.

Hi Heather, my heart goes out to you. I too am very close to my mom and she doesn't live near me as well. I completely understand how hard it must be being so far away during this time. I am sending all my prayers and warm thoughts that things get better soon. (((big hugs)))
As for your coloring I think you did a wonderful job! Do you have 2-3 markers in the same close color range? If so that really helps with blending if you find that's the issue. However I think it looks perfect!

What a pretty, soft card. Your coloring is fantastic. I will pray for your mom...it's so hard to be away from loved ones any time but especially when they are ill.

Mmm Mmm good! Love the sweet image, the fun lace and those GORGEOUS Primas! Good luck with your mom - I know just how hard that is - went through it for a couple of years and it's a helpless feeling. I'm sure she knows you're there with her in spirit and heart. Thanks so much for playing along with Just Us Girls this week. We appreciate your participation and support. :-) Hope to see you again next week.

So sorry to hear about your mom...hope she's better. I've lived 600 miles from my mom since graduating college, several decades ago, but it's always been an easy trip getting back home to the folks. Now we've moved and it's not so easy, so I understand.

I love your card, the colors, the lace and those flowers!

Take care and I hope for the best...

Now Heather, this is another take for you... but I do love the little girl. And the lace and rose, ofcourse. I wish I could crochet like that.
